“The good news is we’re starting to see some brands return to advertising to educate consumers about what to expect in this new normal. True, the current demand isn’t comparable to pre-pandemic levels, but it has been strong enough to stabilize CPMs that continue to slowly rise, allowing mobile publishers to continue creating content that informs, entertains, and when necessary, explains the new normal in a given vertical…”

Guest Speakers

We have introduced a new speaker series at Freestar. Every month we bring in a different guest speaker, some in our industry, and some that are not, to talk about their journey and what it has taken for them to become successful in their eyes.

In this month’s series, our team had the honor of connecting with John Tapis, Founder and CEO of Bouqs, a successful startup turned multi-million dollar business. Bouqs is an online flower shop that delivers flowers and plants fresh from eco-friendly, sustainable farms to doorsteps nationwide.

John took us through the journey of his triumphs and his tribulations, one of which being ruthlessly denied on Shark Tank, and the difficulty he had overcoming some company milestones. His inspirational storytelling was motivating for our team and we took away some amazing lessons.

Key Takeaways: It truly comes down to your story and your hustle, start the change that you want to create, don’t be afraid to give honest feedback, and the 50-employee company milestone can be a make or break moment for a lot of companies.
